2020 POPASMOKE/VMO-6 REUNION
VMO-6 Members;
VMO6 squadron will participate with the USMC Combat Helicopter & Tiltrotor Assn. (Pop a Smoke) 2020 Reunion which will be held in Sparks Nevada at the Nugget Hotel & Casino Resort on October 14-18, 2020.

Most members are familiar with these reunions from past attendance. It was how I became involved with the VMO6 members group in 2010. For those who don’t know about the Pop a Smoke organization, you can get information from their website at “http:popasmoke.com”.
Note: Pop a Smoke has separate reunion registration forms to participate with the group.
Registering for the Pop a Smoke Reunion is not required but recommended for you to participate in the separate VMO6 Squadron dinner on Friday evening July 10th .
To enjoy the total reunion event including reception buffet on Thursday evening then the Banquet dinner on Saturday evening I do recommend registering with Pop a Smoke for the event.
I have attached the Pop a Smoke Registration form along with the VMO6 Reunion Signup form for your consideration..
I have volunteered to be your VMO6 squadron coordinator for this event. I do hope that all VMO6 members might consider attending if at all possible. As time goes on we find that attendance at these events gets smaller.
From an earlier mailing we have received enough positive responses for attendance that we will go forward with the reunion. As I receive signups, I will inform the group on who is attending.
The VMO6 Squadron dinner will held on Friday July 10th at the Great Basin Brewing Co. in Sparks Nevada. It is about 5 blocks from the Casino Resort.
If you plan to attend, please fill in the VMO6 signup form and make your menu option selection (Menu option #1 or #2 - see attachments) and please consider any contributions for the VMO6 hospitality suite at the resort.
The hospitality suite offers us a common place to meet and get reacquainted.

Please complete and mail your signup and selections before June 10, 2020 as I need to notify the restaurant of our group size.
